What is the role of an animal communicator or an animal intuitive? Some
one who can act as an animal communicator, or use her intuition to act as a conduit for messages that an animal has to share
with his human companion can play an important role in facilitating the development of that relationship. We now know of the
value in terms of the health and emotional benefits of caring for and being care for by a pet, a being of another species,
who seems to be able to learn our language better than we have learned his. Sometimes all it takes to begin to learn his language
is a belief in the possibility that what you think your animal companion is telling you is really the case. An animal communicator
can help to relieve your doubts and help you learn to trust your own intuition by tuning in to your animal friend and what
he is wanting you to know.
Often, I am asked to act as an animal communicator when it is time for an animal to
pass on. This is one of the hardest and yet the most beautiful of times we share with the animals in our care. It is also
a time when it is important to reach out for support and to allow time for grieving. In all cases when I have connected with
animals concerning death and dying, they are fully accepting and willing for this stage of their journey. And it is often
that this stage of the journey has the most to teach us about love and connection.
At other times, I am contacted
at the beginning stages of a relationship. I have even had the experience of animals contacting me before they are physically
in a person's life. This has helped me come to believe that we are not the ones doing the choosing. Our animal companions
are out to find us.
I have a special place in my heart for horses and have enjoyed many communications from them.
The plight of Premarin mares and foals is a close concern of mine and many of these special souls have been teaching me about
the depth and wisdom of the equine spirit.
And to all the animals who have helped me on my path I owe a debt of
gratitude. You have helped me believe and trust in the truth and power of things not seen with the eyes nor heard with the
ears, but which are instead heard and felt in the heart.
